WEEK 2: Promoting High Cards, developing long suits, division of cards; taking your losses early, bidding review: rebids by opener after no trump response, rebid after major and minor suit responses, rebids after jump or new suit response, summary and exercises
WEEK 3: The Finesse; leading toward a hight card, repeating a finesse, finessing against two cards; leading a high card, bidding review of overcalls, overcalling no trump, advancing after an overcall, summary and exercises.
WEEK 4: Eliminating losers; ruffing losers in dummy, discarding losers, bidding review of take out doubles and responses, no trump advances and rebids by doubler; summary and exercises
WEEK 5: All about entries, preserving entries, creating entries, how to estimate number of entries needed - review defense - second hand low and when not to play low, bidding review of stayman and responses;
WEEK 6: Hold up play and how long to hold up, holding up with 2 high cards, who is the dangerous opponent and how to avoid them, when both opponents are dangerous (ughh), ducking to keep an entry, bidding review of strong opening (2 clubs) balanced and unbalanced, responses and opener's rebids; summary and exercises
WEEK 7: When to draw trumps, delaying drawing trump; maintaining control and ducking to maintain control, drawing the outstanding high trump; establishing dummy's side suit; defense review of attitude signals; slam bidding review, summary and exercises. Jacoby Transfer for the majors, signing off in the minors, interference, responding to 2NT and 3 NT.
WEEK 8: Putting it all together! Counting tricks, safety plays; Eight ever, nine never, which suit first, combining chances, going with the odds. Bidding review of preemts and responding to preempts, competing against preempts, summary and exercises.
