This week we talked about how high to bid and how to use the bidding boxes then the brave souls jumped right in and started playing. We had 4 pairs who moved so that each pair played every other pair. Everyone looked awesome! Who would ever guess that we are such rookies? I can't believe how far everyone has come. What a great group. After each pair played 6 boards, we went over the scoring and will continue to do so until it becomes automatic.

Desiree, Ronda and Kelly were busy packing for their trip to go on a barge to Amsterdam (we'll have to live vicariously through them) but Justin came and held up the family name by stealing the bid with his partner from their North South opponents.

Next week we will meet at the Eastlake Greens Clubhouse on Clubhouse drive by the golf course. That will be a lot more convenient for any newcomers or latecomers as they won't need any kind of a key to get in (not to mention packing up the tables and chairs afterward).

Please continue to bring any family, friends or neighbors - we're not so far along that we can't catch them up.

Thanks to everyone that helped carry out chairs and tables after the game and remember: Take all your tricks (and some of theirs).

Hope to see you all on Wednesday.
